Sales execution and the technology support of customer facing processes have been the focus of Rob’s career over the past 25 years. He began his career with IBM back before PC’s were mainstream and held sales and management positions before leaving to start Eventask Technology and Marketing.
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) as a term hadn’t been popularised in the mid 90’s but the mandate of EvenTask was to build processes, with technology support, that helped organisations drive predictability into their sales outcomes.
In the late 90’s Robert was recruited into Siebel Systems (now Oracle Corporation) where he held various roles, culminating in that of Country Manager Australia/New Zealand. Robert was fundamental in driving the growth of the Australian business from 2 people to over 150 people and turnover in excess of $70 mill in the space of 6 years.
In 2006 Robert founded the CRMNow organisation to again refocus on helping organisations drive more efficient outcomes from their customer facing activities. Clients such as Optus, Westfield, Fosters, Westpac, Accenture and Oracle have used the services of CRMNow with programs delivered to a global audience from offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
In addition to his business activities he has lectured in Sales Management in the Post Graduate School of Business and Industrial Marketing in the Undergraduate Program at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
