In the IT section of The Australian newspaper last week, Jennifer Foreshew provides insight into how the Victorian Department of Human Services have decided to enhance their Oracle CRM On Demand application with more sensitive client data.
With the completion in late 2010 of the Sydney based Oracle CRM On Demand Data Centre, government departments had a significant hurdle removed preventing them from using a cloud based solution. Data can now remain within Australia and conform to legislative requirements.
